On Sunday, January 29th, Some of us Iranians got together in New York to discuss recent issues and immigration laws our community is facing. We gathered together to share our thoughts and concerns, to identify our weaknesses and strengths, and to brainstorm the ways in which we can contribute to our community in the future ahead. In the meeting, we decided to create work groups and share the workload based on our passion and abilities. We agreed on holding ourselves accountable to one another and to stay committed to our responsibilities.
Here is a list of the working groups per our collective conversation:
- Cyber security
- Community building — within Iranian and other non-Iranian groups
- Peaceful protest / Event planning
- Media / Communications
- Legal Advice
- Physical and Mental Health
- Data Analysis(we can always add more working groups per members’ suggestions)
Signup to the work group of your interest.
